She'll be apples mate !
There's nothing like biting into a crisp juicy new season apple to transport yourself back to the hazy summer days of being a kid and running under backyard sprinklers, getting sunburnt and munching on apples that were sweet and delicious.
I took that trip last Sunday when I had a bite of a new season Gala. The best thing is for this trip you don't need a ticket and the only bag you need to pack should be empty so you can fill it with the wonderful apples from John Howell. Do yourself a Flavour !
Word of our market is growing. Last week we had a visit from a delegation of farmers from Japan no less. They were on a study mission to see how we run our farmers markets and present our produce to the people. They were very impressed by the both the people and the produce and we all know its good people and good produce that makes a good market.
Erena is back managing the market this Sunday so make sure you stop by and say hello.
And also back by popular demand is the list of the coming weeks stallholders.
